The Renaissance paintings and stories about the Virgin and Christianity have always been my favourite subject. I created this collection inspired by historical artworks from the masterpieces painting. So, I called these artworks the Last supper.
Red Figures are the symbol of virginity that I use them in my works. As a girl who lives in a patriarchal society I want to focus on the problematic of identity of the modern woman. Red reminds me of the meaning of life and death. Red refers to the Virgin.
Qajar dynasty was a collection that I created for my final project at MA. For this project, I put myself as a woman who had to obey the patriarchal laws. So, I was as an object in front of the camera. I mix them with digital painting to support my ideas.
